Lucy’s Review

“A silly story about a silly donkey”. This story has been selected for bed time reads frequently. It is as Lucy quotes a silly story about a donkey. The repetition of the text makes it easy to read a long and the words used and its ‘silliness’ ensures lots of laughs. The story also creates lots of questions such as why has the donkey only got one eye?’ ‘why is it missing a leg? etc which creates an opportunity to talk about matters such as disabilities.
