Dreams Can Come True by Daniel Britton

Review

I read this short fairy tale to my 7 year old and he absolutely loved it. The book is superbly written and shows just how dreams can come true with the right advice, hard work and a bit of luck. The theme of entrepreneurship is evident throughout and Tom (the main character) is a fantastic role model for children not to give up and chase their dreams. The illustrations are excellent and support the story throughout. Recommended.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle

Lucy’s Review

An adorable classic that is one of the favorite picture books in our house at the moment. Everyone knows the story of the little caterpillar who eats and eats, gets sick, (then eats a leaf) and turns in to a butterfly. Lucy’s favorite is the watermelon (happy with that over all the sugar filled treats). A great book for young kids with its own ‘eaten’ holes and beautiful illustrations.
